Our Arts and Craft Show schedule

_____________________________

  #1. March 12  *

Line Mt. High School, Line Mt., PA  10:00 - 3:00  -

Small crowd, most vendors I talked to did not do very well. Lots of buy/sell country stuff.  I don't think I'll try again.  My first of three sales was about 2:00 pm.

#2. March 19 *

Central Dauphin High School, Dauphin, PA  Booth #102  -

Good Show, Huge crowd. At times you could hardly get through the halls. They looked in the morning and came back and bought after noon. We will be back.  These folks did a great job. Sales where good, complements  were inspiring.

#3. April 30 *

Lewisburg Market Street Festival. Lewisburg, PA 10:00 - 5:00  Rained most of the day.  There was a river of water running through my tent. I spent most of the day with a squeegee in my hands trying to keep the water out. Sales were still fair.

#4. May 7 *

Danville Spring Fling  Danville, PA 9:00-5:00

Very Windy, My spot had a vacant lot behind me, So.. I was open to the wind. We had some damage.  At one point the wind blew everything on one of my tables out into the street. Look for us in a new spot next time. Other than the wind we had a very good show, The people liked our bowls, jewelry and key chains. Many wonderful complements from shoppers.

#5. May 14 *

    Clearfield Driving Park   Clearfield, PA

Flee market type show. We did this show just because it was close to home, We did very well.  I was surprised!.

#6. May 20- 21 *

Indiana May Mart, Indiana, PA.\Indiana Garden Club

I won best display of show.  Sales were slow for anything over $5.00 that you couldn't eat. I may not do this show again. The older lady    (a sweetheart) in booth beside me selling beautiful handmade aprons at import prices did very well. (Sales, but probably not profit) Some artists I talked to just made rent, one art vendor packed up and left after the first day.

May 27

My wife retired today.

#7. May 28 *

    Country Memory, McVeytown, PA

Rained most of the afternoon. We still had a very good day.

#8. May 30 *

Boalsburg, PA.   70 E Main St.

Despite the fear of rain, we got set up and ready before the showers. It was sunny when we packed up, and raining as we pulled out on the road. We had a very good show. Thanks to all for your support.

#9. June 4

DuBois Festival of the Arts  DuBois, PA

This turned out to be a very good show for us again this year. Fine arts and crafts are popular here.

We took a trip out west worked on getting our work in a few big galleries....... Look for a list later

#10. July 16*

    Chamberfest  Chamberburg, PA 9:00 -4:00

This was not a very good show for me.  Sales were low, and the wind knocked down one of my bowl racks causing a good deal of damage.  I am now making windproof racks.

#11. July 22-23 *

    Presque Isle Weekend  Erie, PA

This is a nice show in a beautiful park.  Our booth location is fantastic.  Nice crowd.  Look for my work in their gift shop soon.

#12. August 20

Bellefonte Arts and Crafts show, Bellefonte, PA

We love this show, Sales were down for me though.

#13. September 10 *

Poor fall show for me.

#14. September 17 *

Small show, just covered expenses

#15. October 1 *

Ways Fruit Market. Stormstown (Near State College) , PA

Rained all day, Cold, very small crowd. Poor sales.

 #16. October 1 *

    Aaronsburg Rt 45 (near ) , PA

Outrageous wind, Some folks had damage. The likelihood of wind damage took the fun out of the day.  Great crowd, Good sales.

#16. November 5 *

Red Barn. Between State College and  Bellefonte, PA

This show was 98% country craft, much of it buy and sell.  I have done few shows where the staff where more helpful. There was a nice crowd. Only very low end items sold here. Highest sale = $16.00

#17. November 25-27 Friday, Saturday and Sunday**

Holiday Open House Nittany Crafters and Naomi's Crystal Cove  Pleasant Gap, PA

A good chance to pick up a few Christmas gifts.  Nice quality crafts in a home party type show.

**We will show Friday and Saturday only

This show is a good one for us.

We are doing better at this show every year, Many of our previous customers return and we continue to gain new ones. Good fun for our last show of the year.  The show starts out very slow but builds momentous by the weekend

We have become friends with a few of the vendors and its like homecomming week for crafters.
