Note: Again this year we have dropped several of our shows.  Last year we dove to Erie for a two day show where I had one sale.  We will be skipping it this year.

#1. Feb - March *

Art in Common show at the Albert Michaels Gallery in Altoona, Pa.

#2. March 1 - 31 *

One man show at the Altoona Library. I had about 80 pieces there.

#3. April 28 *

    Lewisburg art show  Lewisburg, PA

Nice clean show again. Lots of competitors for me this year with three other turners at the show. .

#4. May 5 *

Danville Spring Fling  Danville, PA 9:00-5:00

Fun Show this year. Went well for us.  customers are coming back year to year. Thanks everybody.

 #5.  May 17-20

Blair County Arts Festival at the Altoona Penn. State Campus.

I had one of my vases entered into the exhibition.

#6. May 19

   Williamsburg, PA

I had a pinched nerve and could not handle the set up or tear-down.  This was our first no-show ever.

#7. May 26 - May 21

    Country Memory, McVeytown, PA

Good sized crowd, Lots of tire kickers.  This show is about 80% country.  Two shows in one weekend is a lot for us.

We may drop this one  next year.

#8. May 28 *

Boalsburg, PA.   70 E Main St.

Great show, good crowd.  Most came into my booth and looked, I got hundreds of complements,  but only two small sales.

#9. June 2

Foundry Day, Boiling Springs, PA

We have never done a show where the promoters were so helpful in getting people in and out.  They work hard at keeping the streets from jamming up with vendors vehicles, and even have people to help you unload.  Big Crowd.  We will come back.

#11 June 15-16 *

    Laurel Festival    Wellsboro, PA

Fair show will try again.  We have old friends there, added some new ones this year.

#12 July 21

Tasting in the Wilds with A Taste of the Arts Show, Ridgway, PA (N. Broad St., Rte. 219) - 12 pm – 8 pm

First year for this show.  Several artist from the Winkler Gallery where with us there. Will try again.

#13 July 28

Lititz Springs Outdoor Art Show.    http://www.lititzart.com/

Very nice show.  Few people say I may be back, they take is now!   We loved it.  High quality work.

#14 August

Bellefonte Arts and Crafts show, Bellefonte, PA

Wonderful show. One of just a few we do were the promoters actually come and ask how you are doing. Nice reception Friday night. Hot drinks and donuts in the Am. and cold drinks in the afternoon.  This was the first show we ever did and we keep going back. Low price items sell best. That makes it hard to sell enough to cover expenses.,

#15 August 25

   Corn Festival  Shippensburg, PA

Our first try here, we had a mix up a few years ago where our check was lost and we drove down, only to be sent home. This year we got in , sales were fair for a first time show, Hope to do better as we build a customer base.

#16. September 1 *

Heart of Lancaster.   Roots market at  Manheim, (near Lancaster) PA

Second time here, Nice place with nice quality art and crafts.  We had fun.

#17. September 8 *

Wildwind Arts and Crafts show,  Warren County Fairgrounds, Pittsfield, Pa

Nice Show, fair crowd. It seems I never do well anywhere north of Clarion. I'm not sure why.   I'll go south next fall.

#18. September 15

   Hummelstown craft show

First time here.  This area is good to me. I will go back

#19. September 2007 - January  2008

"Artists In Our Midst", Altoona, PA  (At the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art)

Had to skip this one. Good sales during the summer left me to short of pieces. I thought my chances of selling my best stuff was to have it at the shows with me. I will do this in 2008.  It is an honor to be included in this show.

#20 September - October 22

Susquehanna River Art Center Art Exhibition

I won the Ray S. Walker award for this vase.

#21. September 30, 2006 - October 7, 2006     48th Annual Autumn Leaf Festival Art Exhibition  Clarion, PA

I did not apply because of my low inventory.

#22. October 6  -   Saturday Only

49th Annual Autumn Leaf Festival  Clarion, PA

Fair show for me, huge crowds, lots of country craft.  Much of the crowd will not look at my work. I featured my Kaleidoscopes, hundreds of the people played with them, few bought.   I'll keep trying, I just have not found what they want yet.

#23. October 7  - Saturday only

Dutch Fall Festival    Aaronsburg, PA

I'm done here, too much like a flee market.  Buy and sell rules.

#24. December  ?? Friday and Saturday

Stocking Stuffer Antique & Craft Sale at the Centre County Historical Society

Works for me.

# 25 December ??

Festival of trees, Ag. building, State College, PA

(Small show limited to 10 vendors)

Everyone I talked to was struggling this year.  I made < 20 after expenses.  Sure was glad to see my regulars.  We have lots of friends there and will return. Its like the company picnic for those of us on the arts and crafts circuit.
