Item # Zebrawood Bowl-0501 This Handcrafted 2" x 4 3/4" Bowl is made from Zebrawood (Microberlinia Brazzavillensis). It is finished with a food safe oil finish. Item # Spalted Tamarind-0505 This Handcrafted 1 3/4" x 5 3/4" Bowl is made from Tamarind from Southeast Asia. This is an beautiful tan color with lots of markings. It is finished with a food safe oil finish. I like it, I think you will too! Hand wash only. Sold 9/9/05
Item # Square Cherry-0506 This Handcrafted 4 3/4" x 4 3/4" X 1 3/4" Bowl is made from Cherry from Pennsylvania. This is the first of a series of square bowls I have designed for 2005. It has an inlay of black diamonds on a white background with a pair of black stripes. I call it Aztec. It is finished with a food safe oil finish. Hand wash only. Item # Open Red Oak -0507 This 5" Diameter x 5" tall bowl is made from Pennsylvania Red Oak, and Cherry. It has 92 pieces and it is about 3/16 thick. This one sat in my shop unfinished for quite a while because I wasn't happy with it. I got it out and finished it up this month. As you can see it is a very nice looking bowl. It was auctioned off at the 4th Annual Starry Night Auction at Galaxy in State College, Pennsylvania.
This one was Brazilian Walnut and Curly Maple
ITurquoise, Maple, Cherry and Bloodwood Bowl SOLD 5/5/07 This segmented bowl is 8.75" in diameter and 4" tall. It has 211 pieces including 24 turquoise pieces. The woods used are Curley Maple, (also called Tiger Maple) Cherry and Bloodwood. It is finished with several coats of hand rubbed oil.
Item # Laminated Bowl-0602 This bowl is made from laminated birch and Walnut. It is a beauty. I only have one but I am working on two more. One with Cherry and one with Curly Maple top and bottoms.
Maple and Bloodwood This bowl is made from curly Maple and Bloodwood. I called this one "Old School" because it reminded me of an old fashioned school bell. Sold 4/28/07
Turquoise And Bloodwood Bowl This segmented bowl is 8.5" in diameter and 4" tall. It has 211 pieces including 24 turquoise pieces. The woods used are Curley Maple, (also called Tiger Maple) Black Walnut, and Bloodwood. It is finished with several coats of hand rubbed oil. This bowl won a prize at the Art show at the Altoona campus of the Penn State University. SOLD 5/28/07
