Handmade Wood Rolling Pins. Made In The USA.My handcrafted wood rolling pins are now made from domestic and exotic hardwoods. I rarely make two the same way and usually use whatever combinations of wood I have on hand at the time, The wood is cut into thin strips (I start with 12-14 strips) and then I glue them together into a blank. I mount and turn the blank on my lathe. I sand them and put on a coat of oil every day until they are glass smooth. Hand Wash Only! Never put any wooden rolling pins or cutting boards in a dishwasher. It will remove the finish and may crack the wood.$65.00 plus shipping Note: The pins here are not finished, they have been lightly sanded so they do not reflect the flash as much. Usually about a dozen strips show when they are finished. Both sides are different. All the wood is kiln dried. They are heavy! Here is a wedding gift that will last a lifetime +. I have met many people at shows that told me they have their grandmothers wooden rolling pin. Finish is food grade oil.
These are not mass produced, but are made in my workshop one at a time by hand, so I never have a large inventory and often have no finished pieces on hand.
